I am a designer kitchens and sell a little of both inputs. I noticed that the oiled bronze can help to show scratches. The satin nickel to give more contrast. Buy end one of the ORB and see what you think. Good luck!
As a custom carpenter, I see many types of cabinet hardware and cabinet colors. The most popular are satin nickel and oil rubbed bronze. Oiled Copper and brass are often but not so popular. If the company is not as bleak as oiled bronze could go with this, do a little contrast. They should have a portion of each color you want to buy and install, leave it there one or two weeks and see what you want. Good luck.
I think the best of brushed nickel with black cherries.
Bronze, brushed nickel looks great, but aging is what comes in the style (including equipment). If you have any appliances in stainless steel ... continue with brushed nickel.
